[Article] The Truth About Cellulite

Skin Products

It's really nuts how much money people (especially women) put into skin treatments; lotions, special creams, moisturizers, anti-aging specialized products, and so forth. It's waste of money, in many ways.

"Unfortunately, too many people still hang on to the idea of quick and easy fixes. Beware of cellulite cream makers, medical procedures like liposuction or cosmetic treatments like body wraps. They don’t work. No cream applied to the skin can penetrate the skin and rearrange the fat cells beneath the surface." - Ace Fitness

The women with the healthiest skin on the planet have such healthy skin because they eat raw food, detox regularly and get exercise. Just look at photos of people from third-world countries (before fast-food places came along in those areas.)

Cellulite

"Everybody has connective tissue that separates fat cells into compartments. While men tend to have horizontal or crisscross patterns to those compartments, womens' compartments have a honeycomb appearance, giving fat a greater chance to protrude or bulge, hence the cottage-cheese effect." - Ace Fitness

Raw Foods

When you eat raw foods you're getting 1000% more nutrition than you get from packaged cooked foods. When you eat raw foods directly off the plant and not from the store, you're getting 1000% times what you get from a store-bought raw food. Imagine what all that nutrition is going to do for your skin?

(1000% is an educated guess based on the vast difference between a fresh-picked plant and a plant that has been picked months ago and processed and transported multiple times, not to mention having poisons added to it at various stages.)

Toxins

One of the major causes of unhealthy skin is toxins. You hear a lot about detoxing in advertisements and see banner-ads all over the internet for one fad pill or another. It raises the important question; Why are we so badly in need of detoxing in the first place? The most obvious answer is that the food we're eating is toxic!

Beyond the toxic packaged junk most people in America are eating, there is also the fact that we're all breathing in jet fuel at every moment. 100% of all human breast milk in America contains jet fuel. We all have it in us; all of us.

Circulation

"Lack of proper exercise causes poor lymphatic and blood circulation. In particular, poor lymph drainage. The lymphatic system is dependent on movement to keep the lymph flowing, meaning that the heart pumping does not keep it circulating through the body." - Vita Moor

Another cause of cellulite is lack of circulation to the area. You may notice that the areas you have cellulite are often colder than the rest of your body. I've noticed this in my experience; and it makes sense since lack of circulation can lead to a build up of toxins, thus having unhealthy fat tissues beneath the skin.

Some ways to increase circulation;

Cardiovascular exercise: get moving! Go running, do jumping-jacks, jump and leap into the air, grab a pair of three pound weights and lift your arms over your head while lifting up one leg and then do it again with the other leg.

A hot bath. I've noticed personally that my skin is more smooth and less likely to dimple right after a hot bath. This, for me, is a personal confirmation of needing more circulation.

Deep breathing. Take the time to breath fully into your chest, and fully into your belly. Then exhale slowly.

Water

"Water encourages elimination of toxin and helps to smooth skin's tone," says an article from Glamor Edited.

So what do you do for a build up of toxins? Forget the fad pills and the fad diets! Drink more water, and give yourself a weekly enema. No kidding. If you're truly free of toxins then you won't smell when you have a bowel movement.

Sweating

What does exercise have to do with having healthy skin? Good question! The more you sweat, the more toxins are released from your skin. One of the best things you can do for your skin is to sweat heavily and then take a hot bath with a little all-natural oil in the bath. (Olive Oil, or Jojoba oil are two possibilities.) After the long hot soak, have a cold shower to snap all the pores (that you just opened and cleaned) shut again.

Muscles

Also, notice... Cellulite happens on fat. You don't see cellulite on top of muscle. If you're building muscle tone, then you're helping to rid yourself of cellulite. Muscles generate heat, and using them helps you sweat, which helps you rid yourself of toxins. You don't need a heavy weight set; try yoga, pilates, taking martial arts, or just good-form push-ups, squats, crunches and perhaps one single hand-set of three or five pound weights. You don't want to put on bulky muscles; you want to tone and shape your body.

Beware

Beware of anyone who tells you your cellulite or fat comes from a diet high in fat. These people are just tooting something that sounds logical because we call a certain component of food, "fat." That type of fat has nothing to do with the sort of fat you build on your body, and even less to do with building up cellulite in particular.

The biggest fat causers are poisons, such a sugar. That may sound crazy to you, but refined sugar is by no means natural, especially not in the insane quantities it's consumed today. If you don't believe me, check out massive amount of research that proves this point.

Anyone who says something like, "Oh, Avocados are not so good for you - they have too much fat," is being deceived by propaganda that food manufacturers (read: poison manufacturers) are constantly shoving down everyone's throats.

Conclusion

If you're eating home-grown plants, organic produce, and weeds, and eating little to no cooked foods, and packaged foods as well as doing regular enemas, drinking plenty of water, and getting enough exercise to sweat daily then you will get rid of your cellulite. No lotion is going to make it go away no matter how amazing the things they put in it. There is no miracle cure, no magic pill. The secret is being healthy.

The FDA can kiss it.

  2. Thanks. I try to do more than just toot my own horn - I still have some cellulite myself, but between hot baths, exercise, all-natural oils and changing my diet, it's decreasing. It's really basic, really simple, really logical. I like Christina Aguilera's 'back to basics' mantra; it serves. Or the several thousand year-old saying in China; "Food is medicine."
